We are building 3 complete websites for 3 “stellar” nonprofits! Chosen nonprofits will work with one of our Agency Partners to have a website built for their nonprofit organization. The site will include free Managed WordPress hosting from Nexcess. The sites will be built with GiveWP, KadenceWP, Kadence Blocks, iThemes Security, and any other StellarWP Product or Plugin Sponsor product necessary.
3 Grand Prizes – A FREE Website with GiveWP + other StellarWP Products, Yoast Premium, Bertha AI, and WS Form. Plus, free hosting from Nexcess.
5 Runner Ups – Will receive a free GiveWP Pro Plan.
10 Finalists – Will receive 50% off any GiveWP Plan.

A nonprofit hackathon is a short period of time, where volunteers rebuild your website. This can range from a single page to the entire site. In this contest, our Agency partners are building these sites for our winners for free! This does not include a domain purchase.

You must provide proof of nonprofit status in the United States or United Kingdom when you register. These websites will include 3-year limited licensing for all plugin and theme products from our sponsors as well as a hosting account on Nexcess with 3 years free. Continued site maintenance is not included. Technical support is limited to the standard support offered by having a valid license for StellarWP and Nexcess products. All contest entries will go into the GiveWP marketing email list and sent to our agency partners. Nonprofits who receive a new website will also receive onboarding to GiveWP from our Customer Success team, who will collect a case study from the winners over the next several months or year.
Your current website does not need to be on WordPress, but the one you are receiving will be built with WordPress. As such, your current webhost must support the WordPress content management system. If your host does not support WordPress, or you wish to move to a new one, Nexcess has provided 3-year discounts for a Managed WordPress hosting account. This will be provided to Grand Prize winners as needed.
Nexcess is our hosting sponsor and will provide hosting for the grand prize winners, free for three years. You must purchase and own your own domain, and our Agency partner will assist in pointing that domain to your Nexcess hosting plan for you. After the build is done, you are responsible for any domain costs incurred, and maintaining your hosting account, domain account, and your WordPress environment.
Indicate on your entry (in the comments) that you need assistance. If you are chosen as a winner, the agency who rebuilds your site will help set up the domain and/or hosting service with Nexcess. The fees for hosting are covered for three years by Nexcess.
The winners receive a full-functioning and high-performing website built for driving online donations. Once the build is complete, it is handed off to you for you to continue to maintain. You may negotiate a support contract with the agency who builds your website. Additionally, the GiveWP Customer success team will reach out to you as long as your license is active to provide tips, insights, and resources along the way. You will also have access to our top-notch Priority Support team.
Each website will be recreated on WordPress, using Kadence Theme and any other tools necessary from the StellarWP family. This includes the use of GiveWP for donation forms as well as conversion rate optimization on 2 key pages; the home and donation page. This does not include photography, copywriting, or content changes. The design may change based on agreements between the agency and the organization.
