A Totally Revamped Reporting Experience
GiveWP Reports got an enormous overhaul – both in functionality and design. The new design provides you with bright, helpful visuals to check your fundraising success at a glance.
It’s quite the visual upgrade, but that’s not all we added. Now your GiveWP reports include multiple styles of charts, graphs, and lists with data breakdowns that help you gain a more granular understanding of your online donation performance.
Our commitment to your organization drove this revamped new feature of GiveWP. These reports will enable you and your organization to better understand your fundraising efforts.
Updated Performance Overview
Your income over time is at the forefront of donation reporting. View your data by date, month, year, or select your own custom date range.
New Charts and Graphs
We also added more detailed donation visuals to help you gain better insight into how your forms are performing. In these charts and graphs, you can find your:
- Total income
- Total number of donors
- The average donation amount
- Total Number of refunds
- Income by Payment Gateway
- Income by Form
New Performance Lists
Charts and graphs are great for a bird’s eye view at your performance, but what about individual donations or donors? We also added lists to your reporting screen to help you keep track of more in-depth information, like top donors and recent donations.
Overall, the new GiveWP Reports screen is jam packed with new, insightful information that ultimately helps you raise more money.
Improved Donation SPAM Protection Control
Over the years, we’ve heard from our users that SPAM donations are problematic for some heavily targeted websites. To that end, we also added a variety of bug fixes and other new features to improve performance of your SPAM protection.
Now you can use Akismet to block genuine spam donations from coming through but also recover donations that were incorrectly marked as spam via the new Akismet logs.
Before now, occasionally Akismet blocked real donors from making a donation. When this happened, the admin couldn’t see the blocked donation or identify which email address was blocked unless the potential donor reached out about the problem. We solved this by adding more control in the “Settings” area of your website.
If you find any donors had trouble donating, you can add their email addresses one at a time to ensure they are not blocked by the Akismet filter in the future.
Additional Performance Enhancements
Lastly, 2.6 includes a variety of tweaks to improve your donation form functionality and performance.
- Optimized Email Performance: Expect a smoother experience with email notifications for donors and admins.
- Speed Optimizations for Gutenberg: Get smoother and faster page-load times when you use Gutenberg and GiveWP together.
- Plugin Repository Description: We updated our description so all users get a better understanding of what to expect when they choose GiveWP as their donation plugin.
