We’ve been growing our Development team rapidly which has allowed us to start rolling out some in-demand Add-ons in our Give Marketplace — four new Add-ons to be exact!
You may have noticed our “Coming Soon” page. It’s a place where you can Vote for the Add-on that is most interesting for you. You can also make suggestions for Add-ons you’d like to see added.
Hiring new developers to our team has allowed us to start to chip away at that list. Here’s what we just released within the past couple weeks:
Per Form Gateways
Give Core allows you to enable or disable Payment Gateways globally. Per form, you can set the Payment Gateway default, but you can’t show or hide certain Gateways for certain forms.
Imagine you are doing a Canned Food Drive. The Offline Donations Gateway is an ideal tool for doing a Canned Food Drive campaign, as you can read about here. But if you are collecting non-digital goods and your form shows PayPal or “Credit Card” as options you might get a lot of confused donors.
Per Form Gateways allows you to customize which of your Gateways are enabled per form.
Another creative use of this Gateway might be to support multiple bank accounts. For example, let’s say you want to support multiple Causes, not just various funds within one Cause. If you bought any of our Bundles, you have access to ALL our Payment Gateways. You could configure “Cause A” to use PayPal and “Cause B” to use Stripe. Then within each form you can enable/disable PayPal or Stripe so that funds for that form only go to the Cause you specify.
Per Form Emails
Saying “Thank You” is important. Give Core uses email tags to customize the content of your emails based on the donation form and transaction information.
But sometimes you need to customize more than that. You want to have a custom message before and after the donation receipt information, or add unique images. There’s so much room for unique customization.
Per Form Emails allows you to do that. Instead of just setting the global default email content, you can now customize the entire message of each individual form. And don’t forget that your email templates are also fully customizable as well.
Email Reports
You are a busy nonprofit administrator. You have a lot of donations coming in regularly and you don’t want to take time out of every day or every week to login to your site and check on your campaign progress.
Instead, with Email Reports you’ll be emailed a summary of your best and worst performing Donation Forms, an overall summary of your donations received, and more.
You can set the frequency of how often these reports are set and just like the Donation Receipt Email, the Report emails can be customized via your theme.
AWeber
AWeber is a popular email marketing tool. Just like our MailChimp Add-on, AWeber supports populating lists from your AWeber account and selecting which lists donors can be opted-into per form.
One really nice feature of our AWeber Add-on is the very simple integration. All you have to do is login to your AWeber account via our custom Give-AWeber App and you’re all done. No fussing with API keys or other difficult to find licenses. We’ve also added a “Refresh” button for those times when you add a new list to your account — all you have to do is click “Refresh Lists” and you’ll see your new list populated immediately.
