Payment Gateway Support
Each payment gateway has it’s own unique approach to handling multiple currencies. This article summarizes what you need to know about configuring your payment gateway to support multiple currencies so that your experience with GiveWP Currency Switcher is smooth.

PayPal Standard works well with multiple currencies. You simply need to add them in your PayPal account first.
After logging into your account, you’ll see the “Money” widget in the left-hand sidebar. Click on “Currencies” there.
Now you can simply select a new currency from the dropdown, and click “Add Currency” for any currencies you place to support.
PayPal Pro REST and NVP gateways work exactly like PayPal Standard. You simply need to add your selected currencies in your PayPal account first.
After logging into your PayPal account, you’ll see the “Money” widget in the left-hand sidebar. Click on “Currencies” there.
Now you can simply select a new currency from the dropdown, and click “Add Currency” for any currencies you place to support.
PayPal Payflow can be configured to support multiple currencies. But by default it does not. This is dependent on the processor your account uses, which by default is called “FDMS Nashville” and only supports USD.
You’ll need to contact PayPal’s support to request them to change your processor to “PayPal” instead of “FDMS Nashville” in order to support multiple currencies. Contact them directly at payflow-support@paypal.com.
Authorize.net currently does not support multiple currencies per account. You can see this response from an admin in their help forum for verification.
Please note that Authorize.Net is fully live with GBP, Euros, CAD and USD but we currently do not support multi-currency in one account. If a merchant wants to accept multiple currencies, example GBP and EUR, the merchant will need two Authorize.Net Payment Gateway accounts one for GBP and another for EUR transacting merchants.
