Creating GiveWP Forms

Creating a GiveWP form can be done minimally in just a few clicks. But the power of GiveWP is also all the flexibility you have to customize your donation forms to your exact use-case. This document will walk you through all the options you have to create the form you need.

Creating a GiveWP Form for a Campaign

Each form belongs to a campaign, and you must access your campaign to create new forms.

1. In your website admin, navigate to GiveWP > Campaigns.
2. Select the campaign you want to add a form to.
3. Go to the Forms tab and use the Add campaign form button to add a new donation form.
4. The Visual Donation Form Builder will automatically open so you can customize and publish your new form.

Choosing a Donation Form Editor

If you created donation forms before the Visual Donation Form Builder was added to GiveWP, you might still have the older form editor we call the Option-Based Editor. When you have the Option-Based Editor, you will be prompted to choose which editor to use before the form is created and opened in the editor.
