When did Liquid Web officially acquire GiveWP?

Why did Liquid Web acquire GiveWP?
We joined Liquid Web to further our mission to “Democratize Generosity.” We are confident that this change positions our team and product for increased growth and success, all with the aim to benefit you first and foremost, our 100,000+ users and customers. Liquid Web has a solid understanding of the WordPress market, how to grow successful products, and the importance of community.
Will anything change because of the acquisition?
GiveWP will continue operating as we have been, with the same team, the same software, and the same community. The GiveWP core plugin will remain free and our Pricing Plans will stay the same.
Does this change GiveWP Add-on licensing?
No, the GiveWP Pricing Plans remain unchanged at this time.
We understand that pricing is really important both for us and for our customers. We put a lot of thought into our pricing, and our primary goals have always been, and will continue to be to (1) deliver on the value that you are getting for the price; and (2) price in a way that GiveWP as a product remains sustainable so we’ll still be here in years to come to continue to support your organization.
Will GiveWP continue to be free?
Yes. Our core plugin will remain free, and downloadable from within your WordPress dashboard, or at givewp.com/free.
Additionally, we do not plan to make any advertisements for Liquid Web in our free product. Our mission continues to be to Democratize Generosity, and we believe we can do that best by keeping your admin experience as clean and nag-free as possible. Any admin notifications will continue to only be for the purpose of informing you of the status of your license keys or your payment gateway connections.

Does the acquisition benefit GiveWP users? If so, how?
We see this as a great opportunity to continue to grow GiveWP, including continuing to add features and add-ons as we do.
Will anything change on my account on GiveWP.com?
No. Nothing has changed in how you use GiveWP or accessing licensing and your downloads through your account with us.
AFFILIATE QUESTIONS
Will the GiveWP Affiliate Program change?
No.
Does the acquisition benefit affiliates? If so, how?
Yes. As we join a larger family of WordPress brands, we will find new ways for our affiliates to earn more with GiveWP.
COMPANY OPERATIONS
Has anything changed on the team at GiveWP?
The GiveWP team continues to operate as it has before, with the same team members in place to help our GiveWP customers. The only change is that our leaders, Devin Walker and Matt Cromwell, now have additional resources and leadership to work with to empower our products even further.
Will GiveWP remain an independent brand?
Yes. GiveWP will continue as its own brand under the Liquid Web family of solutions known as StellarWP.
