Just like a hotel concierge, we have answers and we’re eager to make sure your needs are met. We reach out to you to make sure you are supported from the moment you purchase an add-on or bundle. Our goal is to make sure that your questions are answered about how the add-ons work, what they can accomplish, how to implement them, and any other questions you may have.
What sets us apart from other organizations is that we aren’t just account reps. We don’t think of ourselves as salespeople. We’re not sitting around waiting for YOU to call US; and we’re not a bunch of minimum wage interns waiting for the next best job to come along – because we already have the best job: helping you!
Who is on the Customer Success Team?
Michelle Ames is the Head of Customer Success at Give. Her priority is making sure Give customers are successful. She and her team may reach out to you at some point to make sure things are going well for you. Michelle is a photographer, school board member, marketing enthusiast, WordPress fanatic, serial volunteer, and parent to a grown daughter. She is the lead organizer of WordCamp Rochester, co-organizer of WordCamp Buffalo, and coordinator for the WordPress Rochester Meetups. Michelle lives in Hilton, NY with her husband and three cats.
Amanda Gorman is our first Customer Success Coordinator at Give, where she works diligently each day to assist nonprofits in growing their communities and receiving more donations online to make a bigger impact in the world. As a yogi, she works with others to reach their own personal wellness, through yoga classes for any age or fitness. Amanda is in love with her husband Casey, her nephew Jackson, and their dog Topanga who all live together in Rochester, New York.

What we are is a team of dedicated success professionals with customer service experience, extensive WordPress experience, and an intimate knowledge of Give and the not-for-profit industry. This means we’ve been in your shoes. We know what it’s like to search for the perfect plugin. We have installed themes (and more themes in search of the holy grail of themes). We’ve experienced the excitement of publishing a WordPress website, and the fear of clicking “update” (of course we always run a backup first!). Most importantly, we have used, and loved using Give!
