Taylor joined Team Give in 2018 and immediately started leveling up all our marketing efforts with her keen strategy and gifts.
Her contributions and creativity are what keep our content organized and interesting to fundraisers everywhere. Since she joined the team our readership and the number of contributors to our blog has been steadily increasing.
Taylor Joins Team Give
Taylor met us at WordCamp San Diego in 2018. We were looking for a new content manager, and she was trying to decide if WordPress was where she belonged. As she puts it:
“WordCamp San Diego … was kind of my last-ditch attempt to start a WordPress business or any business at all.”

To say she impressed us from the start is an understatement. Once she joined the GiveWP team, there was no holding her back! As our content strategist, Taylor has authored over 120 articles herself to the GiveWP and WP Business Reviews blogs, edited even more, and provides years of tweets and social posts, all to help share the GiveWP goodwill to the world.
And she’s all in! Along with Customer Success team members Michelle Frechette and Amanda Gorman, Taylor tattooed the GiveWP logo on her arm.
Citing joining the team as a turning point in her career, and bonding with the other women (three at the time – there are more now!) on the team, she spearheaded the trip to the tattoo shop at WordCamp US 2018. When she commits to something, she means it!
Taylor Waldon, Digital Nomad and Dog Mom
Taylor has always experienced wanderlust – from her days crossing the country with her own WordPress business to her writing – travel is in her blood. So it came as no surprise to us when she announced last year that she would be buying an RV as her permanent tiny home, packing up her belongings (and beloved pets Pepper and Legedu) and heading out on the open road.
As a matter of fact, the WordPress community held an online fundraiser (using GiveWP, of course) to help her find the perfect new home. In just over 9 days, her new-to-her RV became her new home, with the community having raised over $6,000 on fueltaylor.com, with many of her GiveWP teammates contributing.
With wheels underneath her and her dogs alongside her, there’s no stopping her.
Overcoming Obstacles
Having lost homes and worldly possessions to California wildfires TWICE in her life, Taylor is undaunted. She also battles daily pain from traumatic spinal injuries in her teens. To say that she is a powerhouse in the face of opposition is an understatement. Taylor perseveres, finds the path, and continues toward success.
This creative and indomitable human is clearly unstoppable.

As you know, Taylor is our content strategist, which means she not only writes for our blogs, but also coordinates the other team contributors, outside writers, manages the SEO for our sites, builds page content, and helps with our social media accounts.
She’s also fun to work with, contributes to our team cohesiveness, and talks about WordPress at conferences, WordCamps and other events.
