GiveWP Adds Support for Google Analytics 4 and SendWP

GiveWP version 2.22.0 brings with it a lot of upgrades, fixes, and a new integration with SendWP to help you with email deliverability. Plus, our Google Analytics add-on now supports Google Analytics 4 and categorization of your donation types.

That’s right! You can now connect your WordPress donation forms to Google Analytics 4 with our add-on. GiveWP 2.22 also has a variety of exciting updates, including an integration with SendWP!

Here’s what’s new and upcoming with GiveWP:

🌟 New: Google Analytics Add-on 2.0

We just released the GiveWP Google Analytics Add-on version 2.0. This version has two very important, and highly demanded updates:

  1. Your GiveWP forms are now compatible with Google Analytics 4!
  2. Donations can also be sorted by category 3 within your Google Analytics 4 reports. Your donation types will show as
    1. one-time: This is a one-time donation.
    2. subscription: This is the start of a subscription donation (recurring donations).
    3. renewal: This is a recurring payment that was started from a subscription (recurring donations).

Don’t forget that your Google Analytics integration has metadata that you can use in a variety of ways. One of our customers connects theirs to Airtable, sorting and filtering to find clusters of data that help them make informed marketing decisions.

🌟 New: SendWP Integration in GiveWP 2.22

One of the most common frustrations of all WordPress users (and website owners everywhere) is email deliverability. Setting up your website-sent emails properly can be hard to understand. But it’s one of the most important aspects of a fundraising website. Your donors need their donation receipts.

Whether the issue was emails not sending at all, or emails going directly to spam, we wanted to give our users a solid solution.

Your donation forms need rock-solid email deliverability

There are many options that require setup and configuration, so we went with one of the simplest.

In GiveWP 2.22, SendWP is baked in. All you need to do is click to connect to SendWP. Then, sign up for their service, and you’re done. You’ll be delivered back to your site, and you no longer have to worry about emails landing in spam. Plus, if they do, SendWP has your back and can help troubleshoot.
